Abstract

This research focuses on implementation guided discovery model. The purpose of this research are:(1) to study the influence of guided discovery model to the student’s science process skills class VII SMP Negeri  1 Jelbuk, and (2) to study the influence of guided discovery model to the student’s science-physic achievement class VII SMP Negeri  1 Jelbuk. This study is experimental research by post-test only control group design.  The techniqueof data collection were observation, documentation, interview and test. The data are analyzed by using t-test. The hypothesis of this study are that; 1) the guided discovery model signicantly influences to the student’s science process skills class VII SMP Negeri 1 Jelbuk, and 2) the guided discovery model significantly influences to the student’s science-physic achievement class VII SMP Negeri  1 Jelbuk. Results of this study are, 1) the psignificance value of science process skillsis 0,002£ 0,05  is outside the acceptance of Ha; 2) the psignificance value of science-physic achievement is 0,001£ 0,05 is outside the acceptance ofHa. Conclusions for this research are: (1) guided discovery model significantly influences to the student’s science process skillsclass VII SMP Negeri 1 jelbuk, and (2) guided discovery model significantly influences to the student’s science-physic achievement class VII SMP Negeri  1 Jelbuk.
