Abstract

This paper aims to determine the feminist ideology and author’s feminism expression contained in the short story "Crystal Lamp" by Rachael Indraswari Ibrahim and "Sipleg" by Oka Rosmini. The method used here is a qualitative descriptive one that describes the content of literature. The writing is done through literature research. The results showed that the ideology of feminism and author’s expression of feminism in the short stories "Crystal Lamp" by Rachael Indraswari Ibrahim and "Sipleg" by Oka Rosmini express sincerity, patience, and acceptance of a woman in everyday life. In addition, they reveal that behind the attitude and nature as women who receive their circumstances, there is also an attitude or willingness to rebel in order to receive recognition and equal status with men.
